Funding for Tuition in Private Schools

All parents must apply for 2024-25 funds between April 1 and June 30, 2024

Who qualifies?

All Iowa students K-12 coming from homeschool or public school qualify.
All kindergartners qualify.
All students who qualified this year automatically qualify next year, but parents MUST apply.
Students transferring from another accredited nonpublic school must meet income guidelines (400% of 2024 poverty level--$124,800 for family of 4) unless they qualified in 2023-24.

Application: You will have to prove Iowa residency. If you filed taxes with Iowa last year, the system will match your social security number with your taxes to prove residency. If you did not file taxes with Iowa, you will be asked to prove residency. Most approvals are immediate, but if you have to prove residency, it may take longer. Do not hit any back buttons unless instructed to do so.

Applications will be open from 8:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 16 to Sunday, June 30 at 11:59 P.M.
